Treena Orchard
Treena Orchard is a medical anthropologist and Associate Professor in the School of Health Studies at Western University, located in London, Ontario. During the initial stage of the Black Lives Matter movement, Dr. Orchard formed the Anti-Racism Taskforce in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University. She is deeply committed to helping her workplace become safer and more inclusive for racialized students, faculty, and staff, along with others who are socially marginalized. She has published more than 50 articles and book chapters, delivered 70 professional presentations, and is regularly featured in the media.
