Marielle Burt
Marielle Burt is a Providence-based educator who leads classes in game design and theater. Marielle teaches at City Arts, Trinity Repertory Company, The Manton Avenue Project, The Cape Verdean Community Development, PASA, and The Wilbury Theater. They also volunteer with the Providence Student Union to support Counselors Not Cops campaign. Marielle double majored in Literature and Gender/Sexuality Studies at Brown University and received a certificate in elementary education from the Relay Graduate School. They have contributed several op-eds to Chalkbeat, including a recent article about making space for students to share their pronouns.
