Hedreich Nichols is an author and consultant that helps teachers amplify the voices of all students. In her book Finding Your Blind Spots: 8 Guiding Principles to Overcome Implicit Bias in Teaching, she combines her experience as “One Black Friend” and educator with academic research and strategies to ensure educators create equitable classrooms and campuses. Hedreich hosts a YouTube series and podcast, SmallBites, with the same focus. From SmallBites, to her work as a speaker, to educational publications and podcasts like Edutopia and Cult of Pedagogy, and in conferences; Hedreich uses her voice to create change around issues of access and equity.
