
Dan DeJager
Dan DeJager is the 2019 SHAPE America National High School Physical Education Teacher of the Year. He is a National Board Certified Teacher, holds a MS in Kinesiology, and has extensive experience in physical education, instructional coaching, and teacher leadership. He has worked with dozens of new physical education teachers as a university supervisor, cooperating teacher, new teacher mentor, and university lecturer. Dan is a published author and has presented at numerous physical education conferences. Over the last 20+ years, Dan has taught in a variety of settings. He currently teaches high school remotely in Sacramento, California.
