Andrew Murphy

Andrew Murphy is a consultant based in Los Angeles. He authored the “Everyone Counts” resolution, a nationally-recognized civil rights achievement that instituted data disaggregation policies for all students and employees of color in the Los Angeles Unified School District, the nation’s second-largest school district. Andrew is a former policy leader with the LA School Board, a South Korean National Congressmember, and a former public school teacher. Andrew completed a Master’s in Korean Studies from Seoul National University and a Master’s in Education from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Education from Loyola Marymount University.
