Meet the Expert

Jim Castagnera

Jim Castagnera

Dr. James Ottavio Castagnera, Esq. holds an M.A. in Journalism from Kent State University, and a J.D. and Ph.D. (American Studies) from Case Western Reserve University. He worked 10 years as a labor, employment, and intellectual-property attorney with Saul Ewing and 23 years as associate provost & legal counsel for academic affairs at Rider University, where in 2018 he received the university’s highest annual award for distinguished service. He also did stints as a full-time law professor at UT-Austin and Widener University Law School.
Having retired from Rider in 2019, he currently is the President of Dr. Jim’s One-Stop HR Shop, a freelance-writing/editing, webinar and training company in the HR space, and CEO of the International Artificial Intelligence Association, a think tank dedicated to understanding the impacts of Generative AI. He has 25 published books to his credit.

Wendy Sellers

Wendy Sellers

Wendy Sellers is a consultant, advisor, educator, and author with over 25 years’ experience in HR operations, downsizing, change management, strategy, corporate culture, coaching, supervisor & manager training, and leadership development in all size businesses in a wide variety of industries. In addition to her formal education (Master's in Human Resources, and Master's in Health Care Administration), Wendy is certified as an SPHR and SHRM-SCP as well as a Certified Internal Investigation Administrator, a DiSC certified personality style trainer, health/life insurance licensed, a Dale Carnegie course graduate, and is an active and past board member and volunteer for multiple non-profits.
Jessica Lyons

Jessica Lyons

Jessica Lyons is a high school English teacher in Indiana. she has served as a department head and a PLC leader during her nineteen-year teaching career. She wears several hats during her day; besides being a teacher, she is a mother and a writer. Her passion for language and storytelling has always been a driving force in her life, and her experience in the classroom gives her a unique perspective on how to communicate ideas effectively while still remembering what it is like in the classroom. Jessica holds a Master's in English from Arizona State University, along with a Master's in Curriculum Design from Indiana Wesleyan University and her administrator’s license.
