ADA Title III Compliance for Businesses
Know What to Do When a Customer Makes a Disability-Related Request
Approved for HRCI and SHRM recertification credits
ADA Title III affects how businesses that serve the public handle disability-related access, communication, and modification requests. Managers and employees need to know how to respond when a request is made and how to apply a consistent process across the business.
When a customer makes a disability-related request, the response should not depend on which employee or location receives it. Managers and staff need to know what ADA Title III requires, what factors to consider, and how to move the request forward without creating inconsistent practices.
Led by Michele A. Mathews, SHRM-SCP, PHR®, SMS, this course connects ADA Title III requirements to day-to-day business decisions. The focus is on evaluating requests, communicating clearly, documenting decisions, and creating a more consistent process across single- and multi-location businesses.
